Our Story
Masa Group Home, Inc. is owned and operated by Prophetess Marcia Craig, a native Jamaican who immigrated to Brooklyn, New York with her
two brothers and three sisters. In 1988 she moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida and later to Orlando where she now resides
with her daughter Nicole and son Richard. Marcia says, "Things did not go according to my plan, but God had a plan for my life. So I decided to stand on His
promises and press forward, knowing He would take care of me."
The concept of Masa Group was born out of a weekly prayer group. "God gave me a vision to have a house for women who are rejected by society--women who need a second chance," Marcia says. "A place they can call home, and where they can be restored and learn the principles of life."
"Our home will be a place where women can learn Biblical principles, how to obtain and maintain a job, to manage and budget their money--all so they can return to society with confidence. Our goal is to give these women a fighting chance to improve their lives, which can be accomplished with the guidance of God's divine plan."
Marcia is a member of the One Accord Outreach International Church, pastored by Pastor Roberto Crichlow.
